A DAY IN YOUR LIFE

The Royal Geographical Society

We’re delighted to present A Day in Your Life Photography, an exhibition celebrating the creativity and talent of young photographers aged 4–18 from across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

On display at The Royal Geographical Society from 14–28 September 2026, the exhibition showcases work created through our free photography workshops and annual competition programme.

Alongside the exhibition, a 30-metre external photographic installation transforms the exterior of The Royal Geographical Society. Bringing together portraits of the young people who have taken part in the project, the large-scale artwork celebrates their personalities, creativity and individuality — putting young local talent proudly in the public eye..

Founded by BAFTA and multi-award-winning artist Alison Jackson, A Day in Your Life gives young people the opportunity to explore photography, develop their creative voice and gain confidence through workshops, mentoring, exhibitions and pathways into the creative industries.

The project is generously supported by Cadogan, Kensington and Chelsea Foundation, Rockspring Charitable Trust, Chelsea Riverside City Living Local Life, RBKC Council, Young K&C and private donors, with special thanks to The Royal Geographical Society.

We would also like to thank our participating youth organisations: Earls Court Youth Centre, Chelsea Youth Club, Dalgarno Trust, Fit for Life Youth, London Sports Trust and Harrow Club.

Many thanks to our incredible sponsors—this project simply wouldn’t be possible without your generous support.
